First and foremost I would like to mention the girls I competed with. One of the things I truly love about pageantry is connecting with so many beautiful women that are talented, driven, and intelligent, and this group did not fall short of this at all! Every single one of them could have taken the title and reigned with a beautiful form of uniqueness and grace, I have no doubt in my mind about that. I fell in love with each and every personality I met that weekend, and I will forever cherish the friendships I made with all of them!
It has been a few years since my involvement with the Miss America Organization, and I could not be any more grateful to be home. My time as Miss Minnesota’s Outstanding Teen was incredible, and at the time I would have never imagined getting ready to compete for Miss Minnesota! Already my organization and platform Dare2Dream is being implemented throughout the Duluth, Superior, and soon the Coon Rapids school districts, and I am ecstatic to see where this committee and community takes me! I remember feeling completely ready and at peace while preparing for Miss Minnesota’s Outstanding Teen, and that same euphoria of preparedness and peace has been taking over my body since the moment I was crowned Miss Coon Rapids. I AM blessed, I AM ready, I AM your Miss Coon Rapids 2016!
