American Cancer Society: Girls of Hope
Who we are, What we do, Why we do it⬇
Created in 2013 by Leah Mau, Girls of Hope is an organization dedicated to uniting women together in the fight against cancer. With over 50 official members located in cities all around Minnesota, Girls of Hope is continuing to grow rapidly. These ladies come from every walk of life, but together they are united and empowered through their mission to spread hope and support to those whose lives have been touched by cancer.
Throughout the year Girls of Hope have had the opportunity to create Build-a-Bears for patients at Gillette's Children's Hospital, make over 30 tie-blankets and bake homemade desserts for the residents of the Hope Lodge, and raise funds for the American Cancer Society and the Children's Miracle Network through the use of the Purple Potty Project. Not to mention, we're in the process of setting up a Miracle Bowl Project to raise funds for CMN!
