The second weekend of Coon Rapid's Snowflake Days was as just as much fun as the first; No surprise there! The weekend kicked off with a visit to the Coon Rapid's Junior Royalty pageant. Kate, Alivia and I had an awesome time getting ready together and spending time together during the pageant. A HUGE thank you to Theresa for organizing all these fun events for us. I then attended the Miss South Central/Miss Waseca County Sleigh and Cutter pageant as visiting royalty, I was so excited to see Emily Shumacher crowned as Miss South Central's Outstanding Teen, Mackenzie Linniham as Miss Waseca County Sleigh and Cutter, Ally Helms as Miss Waseca County Sleigh and Cutter, and former Miss Coon Rapid's contestant Allyson Kruz as Miss South Central. Though it was a late night at the pageant, I had to be up bright and early for the Canvas and Hot Chocolate event held at the Coon Rapid's Legion Club. I had a great time painting with the kids, and of course, enjoying the hot chocolate. And here is my masterpiece from the day. Every artist has her muse, mine so happens to be a highly-successful childrens' movie. While I might not want to build a snowman, I'd be delighted to paint one! Anyways, all in all I'd declare this weekend a success. I wonder what's next on the agenda? Stay tuned!
