Oh the amount of festivities I took part in over the Fourth of July weekend was amazing. Being able to ride along in the huge Coon Rapids parade in my own Cadillac XLR convertible was quite exciting. Oh and knowing how much of a car nut I am, I made a trip over to the Coon Rapids car show. Here I got to see my all time favorite car, the Chevelle ss. After gazing upon beautiful cars and riding in one, I ate tons of delicious fair food, a funnel cake included. Not only did I eat, but my sister queen and I were able to play some bingo. Unfortunately, I did not win on any of boards I played, but Kayla sure came close. I also met much of the Coon Rapids community at the fair, where I ran into my biggest fan, a four year old little girl, named Molly. She is only the sweetest. I also had the opportunity to meet the grandsons of Dino's, the creator of Dino's gyros, which are the best gyros around. After a fun day at the fair, Kayla and I took a trip over to the Coon Rapids fire department to give thanks and visit with our local chief, and have a tour of all the fire trucks. All in all it was the most eventful Fourth of July's yet and it was all worth the while. Thank you Coon Rapids for the love of your community.
