The next morning I volunteered at the Hope 4 Youth Waffle Breakfast fundraiser. I had so much fun, and I learned a thing or two about making waffles from our Marquee. The trick is to avoid spilling the batter all over yourself, something that I learned with time. Kate and Alivia were working there too, and with our skills, the food was coming out faster than you'd think possible. Which was good, because it was absolutely PACKED. We're lucky we had such a great turnout, because the money raised went to such a great cause! And at the end of the day I got to enjoy some delicious waffles, made by yours truly. They were worth the wait, and for a great cause. The day was "sweet", to say the least!
